Research shows that sometimes our diets are unbalanced and low in the nutrients required to maintain a strong and efficient immune system. Immunace® is a synergistic dietary supplement of 22 nutrients for the immune system, to help maintain resistance to infection and optimal cell defence. The research-based formula helps maintain health in the short term, while also helping to maintain long-term immune defence at the cellular level.

Free radical defence

Antioxidants such as vitamins E, C and carotenoids, help defend against harmful free radicals which can damage cell DNA. Certain amino acids and trace minerals such as selenium are also used in the synthesis of more complex antioxidant molecules. Free radicals are found naturally in the environment, caused by sunlight, cigarette smoke, pollution, and other factors in modern day-to-day existence. The activity of viruses in the body is also thought to be mediated by free radicals, so antioxidants are particularly important to immune system defence. Immunace® includes antioxidant vitamins, trace minerals, amino acids and five natural source carotenoids to help ensure complete antioxidant defence.

Stress and immune function

During times of stress, certain nutrients are particularly important. Most people are aware that they are more likely to 'come down with something' when they are stressed out or run down. This is because certain physical factors associated with the increase in adrenalin during stress may affect the body's resistance to infection. Stress may also increase the need for vitamin C and magnesium in the body, so Immunace® provides these nutrients to help ensure optimum levels at all times.

Comprehensive support

Immunace® provides a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals, taking the place of a regular multivitamin / mineral supplement. These include nutrients for all-round wellbeing, as well as vitamin B complex for the maintenance of the central nervous system, which helps to regulate immune response.

Research based

The Immunace® formula has been developed in conjunction with international experts in antioxidant research, based on scientific evidence of the role of nutrition in the function of the immune system.
